The silk handkerchief is hung on long pins which sit in out an inch from the wall. In the slightest air current it will waft and release its light fragrance.

According to the report from the National Academy of Sciences, 95% of chemicals used in synthetic fragrances are derived from fossil fuels, and include benzene derivatives, aldehydes, and toluene.
Its been a hot El Nino summer. After the rain comes I find numerous oil slick rainbows. I lay my silk handkerchiefs over them and capture the reflection and refraction of fossil fuel materials such as antifreeze, motor oil, brake fluid and transmission fluid.
